The Recruiting Process
We recruit on campus at many local schools as well as a
few out of state schools. In coordination with College Career
Centers, the bulk of our campus recruiting takes place in
the fall semester (September-December).
The
following details our recruiting process:
#1
–Visit Us @ Career Fairs and “Meet the Firm”
Events
-
The first step in the recruiting process
-
Our first opportunity to meet interested candidates
-
Normally take place in September
-
Meet HA&W staff who are often alumni
-
Learn more about HA&W and why it’s a great place
to work
-
Learn more about what we’re looking for in prospective
candidates and available accounting positions
-
Pick up a cool giveaway and HA&W info
-
Drop off your resume
#2
– Join Us for On-Campus Interviews
-
Second step in the recruiting process
-
Normally takes place during October
-
Register through your career center
-
Use MonsterTrak to post your resume to our HA&W
-
We schedule interviews with pre-selected students that
meet our qualifications
-
Students then select an interview time best suited for
their schedule to meet with one of our staff
-
Interviews are 30 minutes and take at the career center
-
Learn more about HA&W and share why you’d be
a great addition to the HA&W team
#3
- Visit Us @ Our Office
-
After the interview, we contact students by phone or mail.
If a student is selected to visit our office, we will
schedule a date in November. During the office visit,
students have lunch with a senior and/or staff, interview
with a partner and manager, and meet with an HR representative.
-
Once all of the office interviews have been completed,
offers will be made to students before the end of December.
These students will either start with the firm in January
or September of the following year.

Here's
a tip: "Habif" is the most frequently
mispronounced name at the firm. Many people say "Ha-BEEF",
but it is actually pronounced "HAY-bif"!
Thank
you for your interest in HA&W. We look to forward to
hearing from you!
