Who I work with
Mark has over 40 years of public accounting experience, including four years as managing partner of the Atlanta office of a national CPA firm. Mark served as the managing shareholder of Tauber & Balser, P.C. prior to joining Aprio, and has worked in a variety of industries including technology, retail, distribution, real estate, hospitality and not-for-profit.
My specialty
Mark has served as an expert witness on both Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Standards. He has authored articles, instructed seminras and spoken on numerous business and accounting topics. Mark is an adjunct instructor of accounting at the J. Mack Robinson School of Business at Georgia State University, where he teaches auditing and financial statement analysis.

He received a B.S. degree in 1965 from the University of Charleston and earned a Master of Business Administration in 1987 from Emory University. His professional memberships include:
