Richard is a partner
of Habif, Arogeti & Wynne, LLP with a focus on manufacturing and distribution.
He provides services ranging from general accounting and audit and tax compliance
to strategic planning and mergers and acquisition consulting. He has assisted
clients throughout the country in recovering over $6 million in state tax
refunds targeted as incentives for manufacturing companies. In addition,
he has helped companies increase profits over 500% by using proven methods
such as Lean Manufacturing and the Theory of Constraints.
Richard works with clients to improve their manufacturing processes as well
as implement a variety of cost accounting methodologies and techniques.
He leads the Firm’s state-wide survey of manufacturing firms conducted
bi-annually in conjunction with the Georgia Industry Association and Georgia
QuickStart. This survey identifies and benchmarks best practices in various
manufacturing industries. He is a frequent speaker at state agencies and
local manufacturing specialty organizations and trade groups. He also provides
and annual update on the state of the industry at the Governor’s Manufacturing
Appreciation Luncheon.
Richard earned his Bachelor
of Science degree in Accounting from University of South Florida and joined
