I graduated from the Fisher School of Accounting at the University of Florida in 1992. Before joining the HA&W staff, I worked for a company that did third party administration for retirement plans. I did the accounting for the retirement plans. I moved on to HA&W to pursue a career in public accounting. As a new hire, I worked primarily on audits as a staff accountant for 4 years. I was then given the opportunity to do training on the audit software that we use.

For the past year and a half, my job has transitioned from auditing to doing training most of the time. I now go out and train other firms on HA&W's audit software and on auditing in a paperless environment. HA&W has been a leader in the paperless audit environment and I feel lucky to be a part of that. I have transitioned to our technology consulting group, HA&W Innovative Technologies and in addition to training, I consult with other CPA firms across the country on auditing in a paperless environment. This is an opportunity that I don't think I would have had with many other CPA firms.

Outside of the office, I enjoy traveling and spending time with friends. I also play flag football with Atlanta Club Sport.

Having graduated from Bellarmine College, located in Louisville, KY in May of 1997, I chose HA&W because it provided me with the feel of a small firm, but with similar opportunities that were available in larger firms. The things that I like most about HA&W are the people and the technology. I've had the opportunity to work with some great people and I'm very impressed with HA&W's commitment to technology.

Before joining HA&W, I was employed with State Farm Insurance in Murfreesboro, Tennessee where I worked as a management trainee. During college I had an internship with General Electric Appliances in Louisville. At HA&W, I specialize in Tax. The thing that sets HA&W apart is the fact that I get the opportunity to work directly with and learn from those at the partner level.

Outside of HA&W, I enjoy playing golf and spending time with my wife Jenni, daughters Hannah and Madalyn, and my son Bryce.
