For
the past 18 years Richard has focused his practice on high-growth
businesses in the areas of; manufacturing, distribution,
transaction processing, service providers and insurance
agencies. He provides a wide range of services including
general accounting, assurance, tax planning and compliance,
strategic planning and mergers and acquisition due diligence
and consulting. He has helped clients throughout the country
recover millions in federal and state tax refunds targeted
as incentives for high-growth companies. Richard works with
clients to improve their manufacturing process as well as
implement cost accounting methodologies and techniques.
He has helped companies increase profits over 500% by using
methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and the Theory
of Constraints
Richard
leads the Firm’s Manufacturing and Distribution Practice
Group which works with over 50 clients. He is also responsible
for the Firm’s state-wide survey of manufacturing
firms conducted in conjunction with the Georgia Institute
of Technology, Kennesaw State University, the Georgia Industry
Association, and Georgia QuickStart. This survey identifies
and benchmarks best practices in various areas of manufacturing.
He is a frequent speaker at state agencies and local manufacturing
specialty organizations and trade groups. He also provides
an annual update on the state of the industry at the Governor’s
Manufacturing Appreciation Luncheon.
From
1999 to 2001 he served as a part-time CFO for a technology
start-up that today is one of the largest online managing
general insurance agencies in the country. Since 2006 Richard
has served as an Advisor to the Board of Directors of a
local community bank.
Richard
earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from
University of South Florida and joined the firm in 1992.
He is licensed in both Georgia and Wisconsin and had served
clients in California, North Carolina, Nebraska, Florida,
Texas, Colorado, Ohio. Wisconsin, New
York, Alabama, Kentucky, Michigan, Washington State and
