Leslie
is a senior manager in the audit group of HA&W. Leslie
joined the firm in 1989.
Leslie
advises companies in the areas of audit and consulting.
She specializes in real estate, construction and non-profit
industries. She has extensive experience in multi-family
affordable housing and audits in compliance with HUD requirements.
In addition, Leslie consults with real estate developers
trying to receive low-income housing tax credits. In 1998,
Leslie was involved with testing the HUD electronic filing
system for the HUD Real Estate Assessment Center.
Leslie
has been instrumental in helping CPA firms all over the
country design and implement processes and procedures for
paperless offices. Since 1998, Leslie has been training
and facilitating workshops at accounting firms on CaseWare
Working Papers, a trial balance and report writer software,
and ProSystem fx® Document, a document management software.
In addition to being a certified CaseWare Working Papers
trainer, Leslie develops firm specific CaseWare Working
Papers audit templates.
Leslie
is a regular speaker at state society meetings and technology
conferences where she touts the “paperless office
concept”.
Leslie
earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting
from the University of Georgia. Her professional and social
