Kerry
is a Partner in the Tax Group of Habif, Arogeti & Wynne,
LLP. He serves individuals, corporations and partnerships
in the manufacturing, distribution, real estate, and technology
industries. Kerry has extensive experience advising clients
in the area of state and local tax issues (SALT). Kerry’s
SALT expertise includes income/franchise tax, property tax,
sales tax, consulting on nexus issues, and tax credits and
incentives. He has also consulted with technology clients
regarding recognition of deferred revenue for tax purposes
and the generation of research and development tax credits.
Kerry also has extensive expertise and assists clients in
applying the provisions of Accounting Standards Codification
Topic 740 (formerly FAS 109 and FIN 48).
Kerry
assists many international clients with international taxation
issues and specifically with tax filings for foreign subsidiaries
of U.S. companies. Kerry is a member of HA&W’s
Technology Group as well as the Manufacturing and Distribution
Group. He also represents HA&W on the Baker Tilly SALT
Committee.
Kerry
received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Bellarmine
College in Louisville, Kentucky and his Masters of Business
Administration from Georgia State University. His professional
