Kamal
is a partner in Habif, Arogeti & Wynne, LLP’s
Audit Group. He has broad experience providing audit and
assurance services for small and middle market public and
privately held entities. Kamal has worked extensively in
the technology, manufacturing and processing, retail and
construction industries. He has consulted with companies
on SEC reporting issues and matters involving the application
of generally accepted accounting principles in various areas
such as leveraged buy-out transactions, revenue recognition,
business combinations and equity-based transactions.
Kamal
has also provided forensic accounting services to attorneys
in litigation involving complex accounting and auditing
matters such as accountants’ malpractice, securities
litigation, shareholder disputes and corporate investigations.
Kamal
has authored several articles covering various accounting
and auditing related topics. He earned his Bachelor of Accounting
and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of
the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is a
