Jeff
Winland is a Senior Manager in the Tax Group. He has over
10 years of experience servicing the needs of the firm’s
clients from every perspective. Jeff has substantial experience
in the preparation, review, and management of both audit
and tax engagements. His tax experience includes preparation
and review of some of the firm’s largest real estate
managers and developers, multi-state restaurant and retail
clients, and investment partnerships, and his audit experience
has given him the opportunity to prepare and review a company’s
financial statements and federal tax provision. Jeff has
extensive experience dealing with complex partnership and
corporate tax issues, including special allocations, maintenance
of capital accounts, consolidated returns, multi-state apportionment
and allocation computations, tax free exchanges and cost
segregation studies. He has also served as a consultant
to and trainer for other accounting firms around the nation
who are implementing paperless technology on both best practices
and the softwares involved.
Jeff graduated
with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with
a concentration in Accounting from Trinity University located
in San Antonio, Texas. His professional and civic involvement
includes prior service on the Georgia Society of CPA's Accounting
Career Awareness Committee, active membership in the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia
Society of Certified Public Accountants, and active involvement
in the Real Estate Investment Association. |
