Denise
is a Senior Tax Manager with the Tax Group at HA&W.
With over 25 years of experience in the accounting industry,
she focuses on tax planning, tax compliance, and tax consulting
for clients in the service, manufacturing, and distribution
industries. She primarily serves corporate and international
clients with Federal and multi-state tax issues.
Denise has extensive
experience in identifying tax return issues, managing tax
audits with the IRS, and analyzing significant tax planning
opportunities such as like-kind exchanges, incentive stock
option plans, and merger and acquisitions. Denise also has
experience in assisting clients in applying the provisions
of Financial Accounting Standards (FAS) 109 and in determining
the impact of new tax legislation on the their corporations
and corporate officers.
Denise earned
a Bachelor degree in Accounting from the University of Tennessee.
