Dan
is the Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Habif,
Arogeti & Wynne, LLP one of the top 100 certified public
accounting and business advisory firms in the United States.
As CEO, he is responsible for setting the strategic direction
of the firm and managing the firm’s resources to achieve
its objectives.
Dan
has worked with a wide variety of clients to help them better
manage their operations and achieve their organizational
goals. He has helped clients successfully start retail businesses,
by advising them on proper structuring and assisting with
financing and business planning. He has also assisted in
the development and execution of transition plans and has
helped clients with projections and business planning.
Dan
has been a leader in the move to take the accounting profession
digital. Over the last five years, he has implemented systems
and processes at HA&W that have taken its practice completely
paperless while at the same time increasing the level of
service to its clients and reducing overall costs by nearly
20%. The systems and processes pioneered at HA&W are
now being used by accounting firms around the country to
revolutionize their practices and have received awards for
innovation from Practical Accountant Magazine and the Association
for Accounting Marketing.
Dan
is a frequent speaker to professional services organizations
on the subject of using technology to make a measurable
improvement in the operation of a professional services
firm. He is also the author of the technology chapter of
the Management of an Accounting Practice (MAP) Handbook
published by the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants and the Practice Guide to Technology Implementation
published by Practitioners Publishing Company.
Dan
received his BBA degree from the University of Louisville.
He is a recipient of the Governmental Accounting and Auditing
Certificate of Educational Achievement and is the co-author
of several continuing education courses taught by various
state accounting societies. Dan participates in many industry
