Community
Service
We're
all in this together.
No
man is an island. No man stands alone.
- John Donne
At
HA&W we know that our success depends on the success
of our community. No one can make it through all of life's
challenges alone. We're there to help. We contribute to
and participate in many of the city's fundraisers, charity
walks and civic organizations. Several area organizations
match volunteers with groups in need of assistance. If you
have an hour or a lifetime to give, get involved. Join us.
Together we can make Atlanta a truly great place to live,
for everyone.

Elementary School in Atlanta, GA is part of
HA&Ws Community Service Committees
designated charity groups. Each year, the committee
chooses the designees and because this particular
group has touched the hearts of all of us, the committee
has chosen to work with them for a second year.
HA&W
does different programs throughout the year including
a Back To School Program and Christmas Programs. While
in the past there were only treats, games and food,
December 2001 included gifts that went over VERY WELL
with the children evident by the huge SMILES
in the photos.

MATHCOUNTS
is the national math coaching and competition program
for 7th and 8th grade students. Participants, or "mathletes,"
study a wide range of math-related subjects, including
geometry, probability, metric measurement and measurement
conversion, and algebra. These mathletes compete as
individuals and on teams, in both written and oral
events. For the problem of the week, the math challenge
or to learn more about the program, visit the site
at http://mathcounts.org/.
In
Georgia, over 6000 students from approximately 250
schools participate annually in MATHCOUNTS. Nationally,
over 350,000 students from more than 7400 schools
compete each year.
This year, Habif, Arogeti & Wynne is sponsoring
