Q:
What is the Client Portal?
A: Client Portal is a web based application
used for secure file transfers and collaboration between
Habif, Arogeti & Wynne, LLP and our clients.
Q:
How does the Client Portal work?
A: If your accountant has a file such as
a draft of your tax return, he or she can publish it to
your Client Portal. You will receive an e-mail notification
with a link to the Portal page. On the page you will see
a list of your documents, any of which you can view.
Q:
Can I send files to my accountant using my portal?
A: Not at this time.
Q:
How do I get started with my Client Portal?
A: If you have not already received your login
information for your portal, just click the provided link
to request it. If you have your login information, just
connect to your portal using the provided link and login.

Logging
into Client Portal
-
Navigate to https://dmsext.hawcpa.com/clientportal/

Use the credentials (Login and Password) from the emails
to access your Portal
-
Upon logging in for the first time you will be asked to
change your password. Your new password must meet the
following requirements:
-
Must be 8 characters long
-
Must contain at least one lowercase letter
-
Must contain at least one uppercase letter
-
Must contain at least one number
-
Select “Save” then “Cancel”
-
Once you’re logged in you will be taken directly
to your file list

If you’ve forgotten your password
please contact your tax professional to have it reset

To Top Changing
your password

Click User Information under Welcome Panel on the left
menu
-
Click Change My Password in the User Information pane.

Enter the new password in the New Password and Confirm
New Password fields.

Click Change to save the new password or Cancel to return
to the User Home page without changing the password.

To Top Accessing
documents

When a new file has been published to your Client Portal
you will receive an email stating the client name, file
name and a link to login to your Client Portal
-
Once you’re logged in you will be taken directly
to your file list
-
You may access (in read-only mode) your file(s) by selecting
the filename hyperlink or clicking on the file icon.

The message box reminds you that you are accessing the
document in a read-only mode and changes will not be saved.
Click Yes.

Another second message box asks whether you want to Open
or Save the file locally to your computer.
